We trust your 2011 BSM Celebration of Life Triathlon experience was a good one. What a beautiful, energizing day at Cascade Shores! 2 comments postedHi race committee. Thank you for the great weekend. This was my 3rd time to participate in your event. My sister, from Taft, CA talked me into it the 1st year along with a few of her other friends from Taft. Every year she gets a few friends to make the 5-6 hour drive to your event and we all have a great time. I know it is crazy but they only stay one night and it is hard to get a hotel room in your area for one night. Most of them are Mom's and they travel to the event without their young kids or hubby and do not have the luxury of being away for more than one night. It would be great if you could get more hotels to open up rooms for only one night for your event!!!

It was a great event. However, why is my team not listed in the results? We paid our registration, checked in, got marked and a bib, did our respective legs of the race, crossed the finish line and there is no mention of us. We were team number 317 (Golden Oldies) with team members janet Comontofski, Annie Vargas and Peggy Johnson. According to our watches, my swimmer finished in 17:48, my biker in 45:36 and myself the runner in 28:33. We finished in 1 hour 31 minutes. There is a photo of me crossing the finish line.
If someone could straighten this out, we would all appreciate it.
