Everyone and Every Dollar does make a Difference!
Though not a requirement to enter, participants are encouraged to collect donations from their friends and relatives to further support the fight against breast cancer. Remember, no matter how large or how small every contribution really does makes a difference.
This year, 2020, donations are more important than ever. Due to the current circumstances and based on the best interest of our athletes, staff and volunteers our event is canceled. Unfortunately, Breast Cancer is still ongoing. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT.
There are different ways to help – from fundraising to individual donations. All donations are tax-deductable.

100% goes back to our community
100% of the funds raised by the BSM Women’s Triathlon and 5k go directly back to our community. In addition to offsetting the cost of mammograms and diagnostic procedures, funds also support Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital’s community outreach and education. We are proud to sponsor the SNMH Moonlight Mammograms program, which encourages women to care for their health while enjoying a more relaxed atmosphere in the imaging center with music, massages, appetizers and evening appointments. We also provide college scholarships to female Nevada Union High School graduates who are pursuing degrees in health care.

Donations really do help!
Since the event’s inception in 1995, proceeds have benefited close to 1200 women and men in western Nevada County. This year four scholarships were given bringing our total to $156,000 since 1999. Additionally, this year we helped fund community education and outreach focused on the importance of getting a mammogram. The fund also directed $5,000 toward a new mammography machine that our Hospital will purchase later this year. All of this is possible because of the amazing support of our community.

If you’re supporting an athlete: You can give cash or check directly to the athlete you are supporting. Please include the full name of the athlete you are supporting in the memo line. Checks received without an athlete name may not be attributed to her fundraising total.

- Call: SNMH Foundation at (530) 477-9700 and we can take a credit card donation over the phone.
Please note: offline donations will not be reflected on your RunSignUp fundraising page, but will be counted toward your total fundraising.
If you are a participant collecting donations, please print the Donor Record (download here) and submit Donations at the Event Expo on the Saturday before the event.
